Quintron 's Automatic Protection Switch (APS) provides back-up switchover protection to an alternate route for critical public telephone network, private network, and command and control point-to-point T1 or E1 Links.

The APS automatically reroutes T1 or E1 circuits on the occurrence of detected bi-polar violations (BPV), cyclic redundancy check errors, framing errors, loss of frame, AIS, logic errors and loss of signal conditions.
