| Message from the General Manager of ISD |
Quintron has deep knowledge, a compendium of practical experience and a long history of good judgments to provide our clients with C-2 Mission Voice, Physical Security, Telephony and Communications Infrastructure solutions for those situations where “Failure Is Not An Option”. Since 1970 Quintron’s product offerings have provided clients with the means and mechanizations required to transcend situational awareness from a craft to a refined mechanical art, particularly at the decisive moment when judgment becomes more critical than knowledge. At the heart of the Integrated Systems Division philosophy is the Law of Requisite Variety. It is a theory which states: “The larger the variety of actions available to a control system, the larger the variety of perturbations it is able to compensate.” Continual change within our industry compels us to utilize the whole of our knowledge and experience daily to maintain an impenetrable hard shell perimeter for our clients. As a manufacturer/integrator Quintron develops solutions which are of our own ingenuity and processes of our own invention. It is the basis by which we distinguish ourselves from our competitors. At Quintron we like to say that our experience and expertise are equally matched. Both are tantamount and absolutely necessary if one is to extend beyond a rudimentary understanding of the discipline in question. At Quintron we believe the best strategy is always to be very strong, first in general and then at the decisive point. Skillful concentration of superior strength at the decisive point is much more frequently based on the correct appraisal of the decisive point and on suitable threat assessment planning from the start. It is imperative that the appropriate measures and countermeasures be applied in the disposition of events. Also, the resolution needed to discard non essentials and escalate for the sake of essentials is tactical and strategic. Parenthetically it must also be pointed out that the same event can have different meanings to different people or even different meanings to the same person at different times. In ancient times castles and cities were protected by walls and moats. In modern times high walls and deep moats are not sufficient to keep out a determined intruder. In essence, it requires an array of systems (access control/intrusion detection, sensors, surveillance and video analytics) to protect strategic assets. In addition, a Physical Security Information Management System (PSIM) is required to transform data from information into situational awareness. Although the forgoing touches matters contemplated in our business philosophy, business model and technical abilities, I feel obliged to acknowledge that at Quintron, we all are men and women of enterprise and ambition. We are capitalists; however, we are not laissez faire capitalists. We are actuated by upright intentions and we confirm morally and intellectually that our choices are directed by judicious estimates of our true interests as people, as a company and as a nation. We frankly acknowledge our convictions, and we freely lay before our clients the reasons on which they are founded. They will in the very least be offered in a spirit which will not disgrace the cause of truth and they will serve in the best interests of Quintron, our Clients and The United States of America. Yours for Better Business Gene Andrews RCDD |
