Communications Systems

Since 1970, Quinton’s mission critical voice communications systems have operated in major command and control centers supporting missile launch and range operations, satellite control, and battlefield simulation applications. 

 

Quinton’s single source solution provides interoperable communications on a point-to-point or multi-point conference basis with unlimited personnel connected to other types of disparate voice systems.  Interface connectivity includes, telephone-to-telephone, telephone-to-radio, radio-to-radio, encrypted circuits, or cellular service interconnected to respond to critical requirements regardless of the end-user type of technology or brand.  User Keysets provide complete integration with all external circuits, including multiple Security Access Level (SAL) classified circuits. Applications are virtually unlimited and with its past performance, experience, and service credentials, Quintron is well qualified to solve complex system requirements to the complete satisfaction of its customers.

 

Security Systems

Quinton specializes in government and corporate access control systems using industry standard hardware with platform/database independent software to secure any type or size organization.  From a single facility to a worldwide multi-site enterprise, Quinton’s scalable system provides seamless integration and interoperability between logical and physical security systems and other corporate IT systems and databases.  Multiple card technologies, including advanced smart cards and biometric devices, are standard features.  A full management suite of applications includes: integrated alarm management, analog and digital video with recording, and visitor control features.  Quinton is uniquely qualified to engineer and furnish leading edge technology solutions that evolve to meet the future security requirements for any size of organization.

DICES Command & Control Integrated Communications Systems

·         The DICESIV fourth-generation digital voice system provides ultimate system speed and control, with binaural voice paths with an assortment of options for the Keyset end users.

·         The DICESVoIP (voice over IP) system is a software based system that replicates virtually all the features of the DICES IV digital voice system.  The T1 Gateway of the DICESVoIP system provides a server-based solution to integrate the audio of legacy voice systems into the IP domain.

·         The DICESSub-MUX subsystem provides a cost-effective access to mission voice circuits in outdoor areas, hazardous operating conditions, simpler control room applications, and typical office applications. 

 

AccessNsite® Security Systems with Quintron’s Enterprise Communicator

·         AccessNsite Version 7 Security Management Software Suite provides a platform and database independent solution for small, medium, or large enterprises and government organizations.  The AccessNsite requirements driven solutions manage visitor control, automated self-service badging kiosks, touch screen lobby access management workstations, ID badging systems, integration of third party sub systems, custom system development, professional services, and technical support programs.

Key Executives

James McGlothlin, President and CEO

The career of James McGlothlin spans a period of 47 years providing telecommunications and security systems products and services to the government and industry.  Mr. McGlothlin is a founding stockholder of Quintron Systems, Inc. and was elected President and Chief Executive Officer in 1992.

 

David Wilhite, V.P. and General Manager, Telecommunications Systems Division

David Wilhite was responsible for the integration of new technology and the organizational development for the large-scale manufacturing of the DICES product line at Quinton.  Prior to joining Quinton in 1996, Mr. Wilhite served in numerous management and executive positions with the main focus on electronic manufacturing operations in the U.S. and overseas.

 

Richard Finnegan, V.P. and General Manager, Security Systems Division

Richard Finnegan has been involved with the development, deployment, and support of high security government access control systems that span the globe, which have protected national security assets since 1986.  Under the direction of Mr. Finnegan, Quintron’s Security Systems Division has developed an advanced network based system that has become a de facto standard.  Prior to Quintron, Mr. Finnegan held similar roles at SAIC and other security system contractors.
