Quintron - Awarded GSA/FAS Contract for
HSPD12 Compliant Physical Access Control Systems
Santa Maria, CA (March 26, 2007) – Quintron, the recognized leader in advanced interoperable voice systems and physical access control/intrusion detection systems, announced today that they have been awarded a 20 year GSA/FAS contract under schedule 84 that allows local, state, and federal government agencies and authorized contractors to purchase HSPD12 Compliant Physical Access Control Systems.
One of the big challenges for an agency to meet the compliance deadlines for physical access control is the confusion of what to buy and from whom. “We created HSPD12 system bundles, eliminating the confusion and simplifying the purchasing process,” said Richard Finnegan, Vice President of Quintron’s Security Systems Division. “The schedule also includes Quintron security systems that have been broadly deployed in highly sensitive federal agencies for nearly four decades. In addition, the card readers on the schedule are all listed on the GSA Approved Products List (APL).”
